About Georgia Peaches Puppy Rescue

To rescue puppies from disadvantaged situations and prevent the surrender of growing puppies to shelters by providing educational resources and support to any puppy adopter.

Georgia Peaches Puppy Rescue is a 100% volunteer-run organization directed by a board comprised of young professionals.

While all of us work at full-time jobs in addition to our nonprofit efforts, we all enjoy what we do for Georgia Peaches and feel very passionate about animal welfare issues. We are involved with this rescue because we believe in the educational focus that is present in addition to the somewhat reactive focus of saving puppies alone. Our goal in the coming years is to expand our mission and help decrease the number of dogs in shelters by providing educational resources and contributing funds to spay and neuter programs.

GPPR is led by a Board of Directors and includes Puppy Case Managers to help oversee the adoption process and education initiatives. You can learn more about them on our Board of Directors page.
